ANC VS ENC

ANC stands for Active Noise Cancelling which is
a technology present in some headphones and
earbuds that dampens disturbing ambient noise.
This noise blocker is produced by capturing
the surrounding sound through the built-in
microphones in the headphones or earbuds. The
sound then gets analyzed and twisted so that
the person wearing the audio devise hears less
ambient noise. This prevents the need to turn up
the volume to compensate for background noise
which is better for your hearing.

ENC stands for Environmental Noise Cancelling
which is a different technology found in some
headphones and earbuds that come with a
                microphone function. Background noise is
suppressed by recording the sounds in the
environment and then process them to create a
opposite cancelling sound which will neutralize
the noise. This way the speaker’s voice will be
heard clearly over the background noise.

            BLUETOOTH TECHNOLOGY

As the technology evolved throughout the years, Bluetooth improved. Each version improved the data
transfer speed, connection range, stability, security, and energy efficacy. We are currently on 5.3. Below are
the five main versions of Bluetooth:

Version Year Data Transfer Speed Maximum Range Feature Introduced
            1.0 1999 732.2 kbit/s-2.1 Mbit/s 10 meters Speech only
            2.0 2004 2.1 Mbit/s-24 Mbit/s 10-30 meters Enhanced Data Rate (EDR)
            3.0 2009 24 Mbit/s 30 meters High Speed (HS)
            4.0 2010 24 Mbit/s-25 Mbit/s 60 meters Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
            5.0 2016 25 Mbit/s-50 Mbit/s 240 meters Dual Audio Connection
            5.1 2019 25 Mbit/s-50 Mbit/s 400 meters Bluetooth SIG
            5.2 2020 25 Mbit/s-50 Mbit/s 400 meters Bluetooth SIG

We could say that Bluetooth 5.0 has laid the basis for the new family of versions of this protocol. The last
major update revolutionized Bluetooth 4, doubling the speed of file transfer and quadrupling the range,
which is the distance over which data can be transferred between them. Since then, the rest of the versions
have simply been refining small things.
